At just 21 years old, Larsen is a student of Communications at Syracuse University in New York. Beyond her academic pursuits, she is deeply involved in social advocacy, particularly through her initiative, Sheltering Souls. This project aims to raise awareness about homelessness and provide tangible support to those in need, from food and clothing to skill-building opportunities. “One hundred million people across the globe are suffering from homelessness. This means they are deprived of food and shelter. I am fortunate to have a roof over my head, three meals a day, and as much water as I can drink, while many lack these basic necessities. My initiative, called Sheltering Souls, creates awareness about this issue and works to help homeless individuals by providing food, clothes, and skill-building opportunities. I hope to continue this work for the rest of my life so we can eradicate homelessness,” Larsen passionately stated.
