This summer, the Global Sisterhood will be traveling to Africa to help in: Keyna with one of their many Charity Partnerships Hekima Place which began as an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDs; Tanzania with the college for entrepreneurship that the Global Sisterhood helped to found; and South Africa to work with the Empowerment Circles that Dr. Hipsky has been helping to lead remotely since was a tenured university professor. From building water wells to teaching the women how to run thriving businesses so that they can support their communities, Dr. Shellie feels it is vital that the Global Sisterhood continues to make strides towards sustainable growth and she proudly advocates for the missions of the Women Leaders of the Charity Partnerships in the Global Sisterhood.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Shellie Hipsky’s humanitarian spirit shines through her past roles as a special education teacher and assistant principal, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to serving others. She continues to shine on stage with her singing, acting, dancing, and modeling at large scale galas, fashion shows, and cabarets to raise funds for the many causes that are near to her heart.
