Sydney Sweeney’s walk down the aisle will have to wait a little longer. Originally set to marry longtime partner Jonathan Davino in May 2025, the actress has reportedly postponed the wedding, according to TMZ.
But before any breakup rumors start swirling, there’s no drama behind the delay. After some initial speculation, TMZ reached out to the couple’s reps and got a straightforward—albeit completely unexciting—reason: scheduling conflicts.
With Sweeney juggling multiple projects, including The Housemaid, Echo Valley, and a possible Barbarella reboot, wedding planning has simply taken a backseat.
Sweeney and Davino have been together since 2018 but have largely kept their relationship private. “I don’t date people in the spotlight,” she told Cosmopolitan in 2022. However, that didn’t stop rumors from swirling in 2023 when fans speculated she was dating her Anyone But You co-star Glenn Powell—claims she later shut down in interviews and even joked about on SNL.
The now-postponed wedding was set to take place in Chicago. Though the couple has been engaged for three years, they have yet to announce a new date.
